Hi, I'm Carly!

​

I am a Chicago based actor, singer, and improviser.

​

I moved to Chicago in August 2019 after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Drama (and a minor in linguistics!).

​

With the Performing Arts Department at WashU, I performed in musicals, dramas, comedies, staged readings, and world premieres. Outside of the department, I participated in Mama's Pot Roast Improv & Sketch Comedy, student theatre, and student film. Regionally, I had the pleasure of working with St. Louis Actors' Studio and Shift Films. I traveled abroad to London to study Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre with Tony Award winner Jane Lapotaire.

I'm trained as both an alto and soprano. I studied tap, jazz, and ballet at WashU and am proficient in British RP and piano.

 

Outside of acting, I am the proud mother of a rescue cat, Penny. One of these days she'll have her own Instagram, but for now, you can see her on mine :)
